The CLC is thrilled the announce the launch of a new mentorship program: (re)Charg(é)
(re)Charg(é) is a program for composers or sound artists, at any point in their careers, who are not currently enrolled in an academic music training program, and who wish to re-energise their artistic practice through mentorship, peer support, or specific professional development goals. Individuals who are, for instance:
1. Looking to learn a new technical or aesthetic practice;
2. Working on a specific project that requires support or guidance;
3. Looking for different ways to engage with their discipline;
4. Wishing to explore interdisciplinary practices through a professional in another artistic field.
Selected participants will receive a stipend of $300, as well as $750 to put towards a 1-on-1 mentorship of their design. The CLC will also help organise and facilitate this mentorship. In addition, based on input from the selected participants, the CLC will facilitate two group workshops tailored to the needs and interests of the cohort. Chosen participants will receive a 1-year free membership to the CLC (if they aren’t already members).
