We are thrilled to introduce our CLC storyteller, who will be here with us for June-August 2022 thanks to assistance from the Canada Summer Jobs program.
Hailing from Charlottetown, PEI, Keith Stratton is a Toronto-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, and administrator. He is a founding member of the Just and Accessible Music School (JAMS), and his latest composition, Terminarch (2019) for percussion quartet, was recently featured on CBC Radio’s Quirks and Quarks.
Keith is thrilled to be working for the Canadian League of Composers this summer to highlight musicians and organizations across Canada who are leading the way for systemic improvement in the music industry. He will be compiling research, conducting interviews, and writing articles on how the CLC’s resources allow musicians to have innovative, collaborative, and equitable performance experiences!
